  9. The 750 responds VERY well to substantial ride height increase in the rear and dropping the front. Much quicker steering, not a hint of nervousness.
  10. I haven't ridden a Crossrunner (we no get 😠), but I have done 80K on 5th gens with Crossrunner equivalent ergonomics 🤩. I completely understand your assessment.

  12. I've done nearly 70k miles on my Crossrunner and though I haven't owned an 8th Gen but have test ridden one, the Mk2 Crossrunner is the best VFR800 Honda produced. IMHO of course.
  13. It's just an aftermarket adjustable sidestand. Amazon special. I was going to return it if it was a total POS, but it has worked nicely. One of those rare worth-it impulse buys. Haha.

  15. Ducati and Aprilia would disagree. Even Yamaha is going to a V4 in MotoGP in ‘26.
  16. I have doubts. Seems the market these days is fine with inline fours, and twins. We V4 fanatics are a dying breed.
  17. It's never going to handle like a CBR600, but raising the rear, lowering the front, and using elliptical profile tires in the correct size will be a big improvement. The downside is it's getting hard to find sport tires in 170/60.
  18. The Crossrunner was a nice machine I’d love to own. Shame it was never imported to the states.

  20. They are all setup very stable as stock. My 800 is 2" up in the backend & 10mm down at the front & it's still very stable. Tyre profile & pressures can have a huge effect on turn in, run sporty rather than touring tyres.

  23. Sure, offer the fetal position ergonomics superbike but I'd like to see them continue their recent years trend of stuffing new engines all across the line. Bring back the Crossrunner, let's get a new Magna, modern take on the Sabre
  24. RVF1000RR-R for 2026 revealed!!!!!! I know this isn't that kind of headline or story... but I'll believe it when I see it. Seen this before and have been laughing at the click-bait for ~10 years. "Patent filings in the mid-2010s detailed a V4 engine for a potential literbike that could replace the CBR1000RR. While Honda has a history of V4 engines, this specific, mass-production-oriented V4 superbike never materialized."

  26. 5th Gen switch gear, left and right side have enough slack to reach a police handlebar install. Excess is bundled under instrument panel with factory cable ties. Only wiring that needs extension should be to the horn.
  27. Thanks. Very useful, but not necessary for me for this installation. I have a set of ConvertiBARS which offer far more adjustability to fit the riders needs than a fixed bar. All that I need to do is extend the cables, hydraulic hoses and electrical lines that do have adequate length, possibly cut the windshield and find new bar ends. I have a HEL shop in my city who will custom make any new hoses that I need. I could not find a custom cable maker close to me, so I ordered those from Webike and they are on their way. The other big advantage of ConvertiBARS is that you can lower and adjust them in a couple of minutes if you choose to do some spirited riding on a track or twisties. The only other similar product that I found is Honda ST1100 HeliBars® Horizon™ multi-axis adjustable handlebars which ocassionally come up on ebay used. The new ones were very pricey, and are now discontinued. The advantage of the ConvertiBARS is that you do not have to install any new clamps like those needed to hold a straight handlebar. Their clamps fit directly onto the forks just like clipon bars. As I live in a very cold area this project will not happen until late March or April as I do not have a heated garage.   28. Any other custom projects, again Hurricane sells all parts individually. Parts that make up Police kit are shown here, you can search Webike with those part numbers. The HB7P### are the braided stainless hoses. The number following HB7P is the length of hose in centimeters.
