Thanks for the manual! I just picked up a nice '86 VF1000R, and it came with a shop manual.

The one you scanned is different, and has a lot of things the other one doesn't.

Anyone have a link to the Shop Manual? I would like to have that too, I just bought an '85 and it was previously disassembled...Its hard enough to put it back togther when you are the one taking it apart!

Thank you for sharing this manual. Very hard to find one. It contains everything you need to take care of the bike yourself. Something you just don't get anymore with today's bikes. I've always found that doing your own maintenance and understanding everything about your bike is part of the ownership and enjoyment of any machine. To outsource that element of ownership and pay someone else for the pleasure of that part, is only to enjoy half of what the bike has to offer.
