2002-2005 VFR800 Engine Management Schematic - ECU pins and coloring corrected

This is a correction to the diagram released by Honda in 2002. It now has accurate pin numbering and wire colours according to the European 2002-2005 wire setup.
This routing is tested and works with both the 38770-MCW-D02 and 38770-MCW-D03 ECUS. American or other ECUs are similar but without HISS and slightly different wire colouring (two black and yellow wires in connector B, for example).

I slightly modified MadScientist's file “VFR Wiring Layers hires full.png” to fit “tabloid” sized 12x18 paper
I took the modified file “VFR_5thGen_Wiring_Color_MadScientiest_Modified.jpg” to a local print shop, print it on 100 lb. 12x18 paper and then had them laminate it for around $6.
Though the black and white service manual wiring diagram is complete, it can be a challenge to follow the correct line. The colored wiring diagram in the Haynes Manual is good but not as detailed as the wiring diagram in the service manual. The laminated color wiring diagram is now wall art in my garage.

Honda Uk supplied an updated Owners Manual for the VFR800F from 2016. The valve inspection interval has moved to 24000 miles/ 38400km (page 54). There may be other changes in the document over earlier versions

Scan of 6th Gen Grabrail Spacer for 3D Printing

This is a two part file for a hard to find part for the OEM luggage kit of a 6th Gen VFR. The official Honda part numbers are, 08L41-MCW-80012 and 08L41-MCW-800123. The file provided is a 3D scan of an original piece and duplicated/mirrored so a left and right can be created. The printer I contracted with used an elastomer plastic that is very flexible and a bit soft which is required otherwise the piece won't seat and mold correctly. YSS Fork Spring Table

Having spent ages trying to find compatible fork springs for an older bike, I came accross this list on the YSS Thailand site & thought it would be a great cross reference for anyone looking for a fork spring, when they can't find what they need for the specific model !
I had planned to use VFR springs to improve my buddies FJ forks when I refurbed them, but turns out Yamaha use a thicker wall on their 41mm forks, so the VFR springs (35mm OD) won't fit !
I was able to use this file to cross reference the early FJ1200 spring (485mmx33.5mmx0.65Kg/mm) with an XJ900S from 94-03 years which is 490mmx33.5mmx0.8-1.6Kg/mm (progressive), so only 5mm longer but stiffer, just what I needed 🙂
