Yes, indeed, decided to do the 41mm fork conversation anyway. Thanks for the info, don't know if I will need the steering lock, bike will be ither garaged or near me on a ride.... But now I want it together as orginal one more time and ride it a few times before tear it apart

Hey, I tried a few random apps lately but none really clicked until a friend mentioned something different. I gave it a shot, started playing cautiously and at first it felt like nothing but losses piling up. Then I came across plinko app and finally had a run where a bigger bet landed me a solid payout. What makes it even better is that for players from Pakistan they roll out exclusive bonuses, and since then I’ve been enjoying short but exciting sessions almost every evening.

Threw in a brand new full charged battery, still getting just a click with all the lights and the dash turning off. Could this be the dreaded RR issue?

Looks like a 41mm prep kit and some rear ride height. Nice. Keep in mind, you will have to remove the steering lock bracket from the frame to use that upper triple clamp. If you want to retain that function, source a 1988/89 VFR upper triple. Dimensionally they are same, but the ignition mount is angled for the frame bracket. They are def not as good looking though.

Have you ridden the bike with appropriate mufflers for any kind of comparison?

1st and second seem fine 3,4,5 just dont pull all the way...top speed is only 160km...im going to say its only running on 3, theres a tick as well so one of them isnt getting fuel is the way ill lean on the issue......for now....{starts great .no choke, idles fine} thanks for bouncing ideas around with me.

no it fits the small end no problem. just needed to hang it at a different spot. ive been running it. .just having issues at the top end of the throttle. so it was a thought that might be the issue, but more than likely a carb issue....it is 9/10. ive tried swapping coils and ignition boxes already. so i guess ill tear the carbs down for the 30th time.🤪

Check the pipe size at both ends. The 500 is probably narrower at the front than the 750. The outlet may similar but likely smaller too. Probably enough to need rejetting unless you want to run very rich. Literally YMMV !

Just because UTTO does everything. Sort of like ATF but without the red dye.
-
The ID might be different and the angle of the collector outlets could be different too. It probably wouldn't strangle the performance terribly, but it could be noticeable.
-
Hey...can a guy put cans from a vf500f onto his vf750f ? besides the hanger location....will it hinder the performance? same years/85....thanks for the info

Thanks folks, very helpful.

Hi and welcome. We'll definitely need before and after shots.

Oh cool! It wasn't even listed as not available, it went from 17 to 19 on Babbits Honda. EDIT: Oh, I see. Looks like it debuted in 1999. Thanks again for the heads up.

I’m not using my seat cowl as I’ve got a Givi rack fitted however I’m left with 3 horrible holes where the seat cowl slots in to. I’ve had a search online and can’t find much at all but can you buy blanking plates to cover these holes?

Look for a setup for 2010 VFR 1200

I’ve just cleaned her up after a very dirty weekend 😜 She was filthy, had to take the exhaust and link pipe off to clean it properly! Definitely getting the bug, got about 5 things on my wish list already! I’ll look in to the depairing as it’s definitely a touch anarchy low down. As for the mirrors I think they’re pretty good to be honest unless a previous owner has already bought longer arms for them.

The lady in red is in bits at the moment, I'm sure she wouldn't want you seeing her when's she's not at her best.

Oops. I do believe I know how to post YT videos or they wouldn't be on YT. However I may have screwed up copying the link to the playlist. Thanks for the helpful comment. -
I think that you might not know how to post videos. You're in your YT studio in these links. You need the link to the actual video.
