This section is for ride reports NOT TRIP PLANNING use the individual ride group sections for trip planning around the US and Canada.

To be considered for featured homepage status please post your best picture at the top of the post, the front page will only see the first 500 charactors which includes the embedded html posting a photo includes, after posting the photo please include a short paragraph introducing your ride report with no other images for the first 600 charactors, including no emoticons, as this presents some layout issues.

A good report will include a good mix of background story, images and often posting an embedded google map would be good, video is always welcome, you can embed google and youtube video. Images of interest rather than gas stops are best - too many riders love to take photos of gas stations for some odd reason? If you are just going to post you had a good ride, with a few sentences, and maybe a photo it does not qualify as a ride report for inclusion in this forum, and will be moved to the regional forum where the ride took place. We all want to see pictures, good descriptions, where the good roads are, where the good places are to eat, the people you met, you know DETAILS!

This forum is specific to a ride reports, usually with pictures and perhaps a video a travel log of an adventure. If your planning a big trip please dont post it here post it in the epic ride forum or if its a day ride plan to ride post in your specific forum ride group area. A link to a blog does not make this a ride report so dont post that here either, use the ride group area or better yet link your blog to the vfrd blogs and go at it that way. everybody who is a member can make a blog here even link it via the tools to share data between blogs.

A paragraph and a link to another site is just not a ride report sorry I will move those. If you want to see a ride report read any of Olives reports now thats a ride report!
