mkulrey13
I recently purchased a 1991 Honda VFR 750F. I'm registering it today and would like to get a vanity plate. I'm allowed 5 Letters. so far I have 91VFR RC36 Unfortunately "VFR" is taken.
Member Contributer SCguy Posted July 13, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted July 13, 2015 Your state has a system to let you know what tags are taken? That's cool, SC only accepts paper forms with your top 3 choices. No refund if they're all taken. We do have 6 letters though. How about VFOUR? I can check vanity plates in real time and it visually shows me what it will look like, on whatever background group plate (if any) I choose. I also get emails when the registration is due and I can pay it online, 3 years at a time. I also renew my license thru the site, and they give discounts for both if done online. Member Contributer Kel Posted July 17, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted July 17, 2015 Don't get one that says what bike you have. A buddy had an FZR that had 5 stickers all over the bike telling you that. He got a plate that said FZR. Kind of a waste if you ask me. My current one...
