Welcome. Time was just not on our side especially with this large a group. More expensive, but it is a beautiful area. Count me in again. It is 19 degrees Farenheit as I write this at the moment. I'm ready for TMAC.

BTW: I put new Michelin Pilot Road 4 on last year before TMAC. They don't even appear to be half worn. Rode same mileage last year as I did previous year on PR 3. I will not be putting on a new set of tires this year. Intermediate skill level, no knee dragging.

If I had a nickel for every early morning tire run.....

1:18 was a hell of a moment !

That was going uphill in the section they call the playground.

I was able to take some photos there a few years back.

My bike is raised in the rear so I've never scraped a peg. There is a little dip right there or I still wouldn't have touched down. You can tell that I was caught off guard.

I was thinking same thing. ~500 mile day should get things off in a proper fashion

My plan is to be there no later than Tuesday. If there is any way I can swing it, I'll be there before that. I need another vacation. I'm still in if you're making plans. You just say when.

My mistake, the Playground didn't appear on camera until around the 4 minute mark. It has more elevation change than the section where the pegs were down.

Also helps to put a little diesel fuel around your ankles....it keeps the ants off of your candy azz. :goofy:

Don't scrimp on the bike shorts, get a good quality like top level Pearl Izumi or similar, it makes all the difference.

Real men just ride with a raw ass.

Other real men don't want to follow behind this raw ass. Too bloody...... :goofy:
