Pity they can't be on display all the time, but the fairings come in handy I suppose 😉 And then some folks cover it up even more...

There's only a few race-rep paint schemes that, to my eye, look good. Took me awhile, but I've come round on the Castrol graphics of your SP-2. And I always enjoy reading about your adventures aboard it.

But Dutchy's getting close to the edge, one more sticker and that RC is a goner. We'll have to ask Colin Edwards for an expert opinion!
Member Contributer Dutchy Posted April 13, 2021 Member Contributer Share Posted April 13, 2021 Going, going..... The sticker bonanza partly the result of the (chinesium) panels starting life in the oem SP2 livery.... And the star spangled banner?? Despite belief in some quarters, I *do* like the USA...

I do love the Castrol livery--it looks great, and also it reminds me of the great Ducati/RC-51 battles in WSBK 20 years ago. And the two bikes in my garage!

Yeah, stock gearing is sky high. I went to 15/41 ( I think stock is 16/40) which is just right for me. That bike is beautiful.
Member Contributer RC1237V Posted June 2, 2021 Member Contributer Share Posted June 2, 2021 I went with the (ridiculous)14/43 with an 1/8th turn throttle - great for the track, but I might put the 15 front on since I still carve it up a bit on the street.

I was @ 16/44 but went 16/45 just for the stoplights in the city. It’s perfect now.

Member Contributer MaxSwell Posted July 26, 2022 Member Contributer Share Posted July 26, 2022 I love your headlight covers. Sure beats the blue painters tape I use to cover my fragile bits during track time for the Advances Riders courses at the local track at DCTC.
