  1. Do you have install pics? Just ordered lines and fittings for this myself.Pm them to you Sat. Morning. Surprisingly simple and did not take long. Thanks, just curious about the front entry point. Use the small square that is already there on the inside edge of the swingarm, toward the front. I used a pre-made line so I had to open up the hole a little that was already their at the rear, below. Thread it from the back to the front. You will see the line when you look in the small square opening, then just grab it with some safety wire, arch it over and connect it to the master at the pedal. Mohawk helped me out too.Interested to see pics of the routing from there. I can't see a clean way to put the line from the master without going around the heat shield and resting on the header?

  4. Tried Keith at Mason but the time zone thing kept us from connecting. Partzilla had some great online prices, I had 28 items and almost $500 worth to order. Emailed the list to my new local dealer, Roseville Honda Motorsports, http://www.rosevillehonda.com/, and they came back about 3% less than Partzilla. With tax I paid about 2% more but that's fine to support a local dealer and pick up myself. Big thanks to Matt in the parts department for knocking almost 40% off their list prices. Now if only install was included!
  5. Walking through the dealer last weekend and ran across these, CB1000R. Would make a nice mount for those with the RC51/954/929/CBR forks. Offset appears to be the same among them all.
  6. Do you have an idea of what you're expecting to get out of the port and cam work, hp-wise? I might have missed that in one of the previous 14 pages!
  7. Lol, that would be too cool, certainly ambitious. Sorry to hear about the accident, heal up quick.

That is a great pic of a nice bike.
  9. Bike looks great, one of the best SF VFR's I've seen.
  10. I did inquire about putting the 6th gen kit on a 5G, was looking at that one for sale too. The basics of Dan's reply were: The only parts in common between the two are the Rotrex itself, the airbox, the idler pulley, and the crank connector/timing pulley. It's not impossible, but from following the threads you should have a pretty good idea at the level of work needed to complete such a conversion. Meaning it's beyond my capabilities or level of interest. I'd be better off buying the kit and a 6th gen to mount it on.

  15. I thought my 4+ year build was a long time. Looking good, though, it's been so long since an update you had to bring back the same old PM to get things moving along again.....

    Stunning white 3rd gen.
  17. Here's an improvised spring puller: http://gritzstudio.com/strom/spring_puller.jpg You can use a length of wiring folded in half, the ends twisted together in to a handle shape. Wear gloves and eye protection!
  18. Couple of great looking bikes!
  19. Looks good, clearance is about the same as my risers but they're much further forward, yours look a lot more comfortable.
