  1. It doesn't look like the offset to the steering stem is the same between the top and lower, so probably mismatched.
  2. Nice work, that looks as clean as the VFR. I put 200K on a '79 Capri 5.0, then a few more years on a '86 Mustang LX 5.0. Fun cars.
  3. Great looking bike, looks like new, like mine 20 years ago. I had the same 'stang back in the day too, although not to the state of tune that one looks to be.
  4. Keep riding! Was about 5 C today but I got caught in fog with under 50m visibility coming home. It's a good challenge. 👍
  5. MRA makes some nice quality options, from sport to full on touring.
  6. Very nice, congrats. Definitely may add one to the garage myself in the next few years.
  7. The PC2 will let you adjust timing although I've never adjusted it on mine. It's been working fine for over 15 years. It does use a serial port connection and none of the USB-serial port converters I've tried have worked so you'll need a very old PC/laptop.
  8. Sad to hear about this, my condolences to his family and friends. His voice will be missed here.
  9. What Wald said. A chock would be insurance but if tied down well for a short trip you can skip it. Congrats on the new bike!
  10. I don't think this train is stopping. Between 2030 and 2040 most mfgs say they will be going electric. Could be more marketing than business plans, to be seen. https://www.forbes.com/wheels/news/automaker-ev-plans/ Also read this, which is encouraging. Battery swapping also will play a key role in accelerating e-motorcycle adoption, a technology that Honda and Yamaha have been far more active in developing. On March 1, 2021, the two companies pushed further into this space by announcing a partnership with Piaggio and KTM to develop international standards for battery swapping. Also in March, the Swappable Battery Consortium for Electric Motorcycles — consisting of Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki — reportedly reached an agreement to standardize swappable batteries and replacement systems for e-motorcycles in Japan. The focus for ebikes will be Asia Pacific for years to come, North America will be last to the party.
  11. The real decline in the world is replacing proper education and science with whatever can be found on the internet.
  12. I'll get around to the Tamiya kit one of these days. The NR gets hung every year, along with the CB. But I need that RC51 now!
  13. It's all stock wiring except for the PC2 plug-in you can see in the pics.
  14. It's just the original Givi trunk mount for the 5G. Integrates with their tubular side racks.
  15. Some pics of my wiring. I found the stock steel Wolf tray can get quite hot which I think is why they instruct to attach the ECU to the side of subframe. My PC2 will go back on the left side of the subframe before I put it back together. (When I started to take these pics today I noticed the ECU zip tie was broken and it was just loose behind the tail. So I got to tear in to this also! Beefier tie now added.)
  16. Mohawk, are you running a Duc rear hub? I've been looking for a 45T (530 chain) but biggest I can find is a 44T, currently running a 43T with 16T front. I can convert to a 520 to get that gearing but my chain is brand new and hate to go buy everything over if I can find that 45.
  17. Maybe the sport touring category isn't dead after all... Let's go Honda!
  18. How 'bout this. https://ridermagazine.com/2021/11/24/2022-moto-guzzi-v100-mandello-first-look-review/
  19. Yeah, meant right not left. I have a PC2, I can snap a few pics this week.
  20. For what it's worth, here are the original instructions.Wolf_Instructions.pdf
  21. I may have the original instructions, will take a look. I've got the ECU strapped to the left side of the sub-frame. I made up a custom undertray kit though and didn't use the Wolf tray. The attached instructions are not mine, but do include the original Wolf instructions with a lot of extra, unnecessary information. Use your best judgement in fitting it up. These were posted probably 15 years ago, all the embedded links are dead. Wolf System Installation.pdf
  22. Ya think? https://ridermagazine.com/2021/11/17/2022-honda-navi-first-look-review/?oly_enc_id=6911J2506689H4Z
  23. Welcome, post a picture of your bike if you can!
