Member Contributer Mohawk Posted January 13, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted January 13, 2015 Definately not exhaust valve look closer (joy of ipad) not attached to exhaust. Some form of dry break on the blue connector, not very big with the bit closest to camera, has electronics below the carbon shield. Has electrical connectors, so some form of pump or valve. Can't see where the lines go, can't find a better pic with fairings off, but looks like another line behind the two electrical connectors, could be a fuel pump, as they are heavy little items ! Not on customer bike so good guess on pneumatics see customer RCV here
Tamworth
Looks like possible coaxial connectors. My guess is a component of the telemetry or video system. Can't imagine they would mount a fuel or brake component in such a remote location
Member Contributer Switchblade Posted January 14, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted January 14, 2015 External oil pump I think it's a external electric oil pump.
Member Contributer gll429 Posted January 14, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted January 14, 2015 Looks like possible coaxial connectors. My guess is a component of the telemetry or video system. Can't imagine they would mount a fuel or brake component in such a remote location to lower and centralize all possible weight., i am betting on electric oil pump too.. GearWhyne
It might be part of the seamless gearbox setup. Whatever the case, it appears to have both pneumatic and hydraulic connectors as well as a swich or actuator to the far right..
