I'd seen that picture seq. last week, but it's still amazes me to watch. Lets lose the front end , low side, slide on your shoulder, start to be pulled off the bike by friction, and think "when in doubt gas it" and pick it up ,wheelie a little and ride away. F n amazing

Switchblade,

After looking at your x-ray, it looks as though the compound break of your tibia and fibula have healed, but your.

invisible junk may be a concern

Ah no just a pictorial of said parts .

Lot of times people get confused as to which bone is fibual(smaller bone) and the tibula(front larger bone).

Yeah, I would also get confused as to which is the tibula bone!!

Yamaha cheats this by staggering the crank to make their inline 4 fire like a V4 :goofy:

Well to be fair thats how formula racing works... an engineer comes up

with something that really works within that formula (Big Bang) and,

slowly but surely, everyone else has to follow... so it is a brilliant

step to achive the same Big Bang principal that had served Honda so well

in 4 stroke racing through the years starting with the NR500 then the

RC30 on to the RC45 and finally the RC211V...

In the modern context, Yamaha turned an I4 engine into a virtual V4. Most

importantly, it made the bike more friendly to the rider, kinder to

the tires and easier to ride to the limit...

I though the first leader's 4.1 second was awesome, but the race winner's 11 second lead was friggin phenomenal! I will say this, DO NOT RUN on the Bridgestone asymmetrical at Phillip Island! Loved the result of this race regardless of who I was rooting for!

Agreed, never seen so many front ends lost in any race. What a turn of events.
