  1. Just unloaded at the Rocket, headed to get Kevin now. We'll all see you guys tomorrow Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  2. Lisa and I will be in Custer tomorrow afternoon. If needed we can pick up anyone having problems, within a reasonable distance. We are trailing in so it will be easy to load up a bike and head in. Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  3. Hey Leon, I bet the ram mount I sent you would fit in the stem of that vtr, then no rotation problems Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  4. Hi huntinggunns, Thank you for your donation of 25.00 USD. We look forward to improving the forums with your donation. Thanks VFRDiscussion
  5. Well, missed out on voting but my choice is Custer. Looking forward to it no matter where it is held. Thanks for putting this together Tony,
  6. Custer is my choice, about the same distance for us. Always looking to see new things. Ultimately, no matter where it is held, it'll be great to see the northern group again. I can't vote on my phone so I'll log in tonight when I get home and cast my ballot. Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  7. I just posted them in the classifieds. They are both the standard weight, black and silver, one has the red band, the other doesn't. You can call throttlemeister Tuesday and speak with them. Just let them know you are interested in a throttle lock for the 8th gen and see what they recommend Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  8. I just looked and yes, It is the AHR2 kit from throttlemeister. It fits the 6th and 8th gen. If anyone is interested I have 2 sets of these I can post up in the classifieds.
  9. Let me dig it up. I called them when the wife and I had our 8th gens. They set us up. They were supposed to update their web site but may not have gotten it done. Sold the 8th gens a while back, but still have the throttle meisters in a box. Didn't let the dealer have any of our goodies when we traded them off Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  10. Actually, they do make it for the 8th gen. Same as the 6th gen. Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  11. I'll go ahead and sign up to help provide some door prizes for the cause. Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  12. Looks like Lisa and I will be there. She mentioned it a few weeks ago before you posted this thread. Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks Leon for the heads up, tapa talk has been acting goofy on my phone. I do have a set, 2 sets as a matter of fact. Along with a ton of other parts for the 8th gen. I had them posted a while back but I'll post them up again this afternoon. Send me a pm SA if your interested in a set. These are the best quality, best looking sliders for the 8th gen I've seen in my opinion Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  14. You are very welcome. Most use the x grip and the short ram extension arm. Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  15. The cap on the 4th, 5th, and 6th gen are the small caps, but they do not cover the steering stem nut like the 1200 and 8th gen do. That is why I use the larger cap from the 1200 and 8th gen. It looks better. There used to be pictures posted on the first post of this thread showing what it looked like on all gen of bikes, but with all the updates they have been lost. I'll try and get some posted back up. Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  16. If you go back to the first post on this thread it explains what this mount is all about. This is the second generation mount. It is fabricated using the RAM wedge mount and the OE Honda steering stem cap. The parts are machined on a lathe to fit together and look like an OE part, not something that was just thrown in the hole to hold a phone or gps. There are a lot of members out there that want something that looks good and do not have the equipment to do this themselves. That is what this mount is for. I hope this answers your questions.
  17. Just send me a PM Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  18. I think Lisa might have some exercises and therapy that will help, along with some really good stuff to help with the pain. Voltarin, I think it's called. I can attest to being cramped on the vfr. Coming off the fz8 to the new interceptor I had a ton of new aches and pains. As much as I love the vfr I think I'm at the end of being able to ride them long distance anymore. Like you, another bike is probably the only way to fix the pain. 19. I'm sure we'll see you on push mountain. Be good too meet some of you Dragon slayers. What day are you planning on being at mountain home. Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  20. FPR, diaphragm in the fuel pressure regulator is probably cracked. Pull the vacuum hose to it and see if it has fuel leaking from there. Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  21. You can also schedule a in shop build where he will work with you until the seat is where you want it. Sent from my SGH-T999L using Tapatalk
  22. Thank you for your patience to all the members that were wanting a mount. I am glad to say that I have parts again and have a few fabbed up and ready to go. Just pm me if you are interested. Thanks again.
  23. Sorry guys, I've had a lot on my plate lately. For those of you who know me, you know what I have been dealing with over the last few months. I can say that my wife is now in the clear, looks like she beat that cancer word that everyone hates to hear about. So, things are just now getting back to normal. I have parts to fab up a few mounts in the garage and should be able to get to those this afternoon. I'll pm the folks that inquired about them in the next day or so. I appreciate your patience.
  24. Ram makes a 1"ball plate that would mount to your case. A short 1" arm and one of my mounts would have you ready to go. I have a couple of other members that want a mount and I just got parts in to fab some up. Hopefully I will have the time this week to get some ready if you can wait.
  25. Hey guys, just checking to see if anyone may have saved the 2012 Hog Tie ride icon on their computer. With all the site maintenance and stuff going on I guess the link has been lost. I think Dutch was the one that made the icon and it was linked from his vimeo account. I looked but can't find it there either. So, hopefully someone has a copy. Thanks, Fred
