Clint
just thought i might as well say hello, rather than lurking in the shadows reading the threads. This is my VFR1200 out of the crate and in my drive way I have owned it for a about a year now. I got the OEM Luggage shortly after delivery had to wait for it to come in from Japan??? the First Mod I made was getting power to the tree's, I did this with some help from this forum and reading over what other had done The design changed a little when i found a better power socket that gave me 12 cig lighter plus removable USB sockets and i just recently put on a DAM Muffler http://youtu.be/CLsCT1HKpGQ I'd like to look at replacing the windscreen next probably with an OEM style replacement with a smokey tint Here are some pics from my travels over the last year on the bike

Member Contributer Belfry Posted July 18, 2013 Member Contributer Share Posted July 18, 2013 Welcome from the west coast of Canada! Excellent first post, lots of pics and the bike looks great. I just gave a small boost to the Aussie economy earlier today by ordering a pair of Oggy Knobbs for my 6th gen. Nice to be sending a little patronage your way instead of to China (nothing against the Chinese, they just seem to be monopolizing manufacturing these days). I kind of like the idea that my sliders will say: "Oggy Knobbs Australia" on the ends too.
AB-Oz
welcome and nice pix in your 1st post! keep an eye on www.ozvfr.net as well, we have a mini-group ride to Bowral this sunday if the weather cooperates!
Bandit01
Nice looking ride and it appears you're getting use out of it. Good move. As AB mentioned, a few of the OzVFR mob are intending for a ride this Sunday 21 July. High level details are meet at Appin pub, Appin in time to leave at 9:00am, ride to Cliffhanger Restaurant at Bulli Tops in time to meet up with other riders and be ready to depart at 9:30am. Heading south to Albion Park, Jamberoo through to Gerroa, Berry, Kangaroo valley and finally lunch at Bowral. Ride not on if the weather gods frown on us (we're too old now to get wet - we may melt or at least shrink) You may consider joining us on our sojourn. Where in Sydney are you? Clint
Liverpool, not far from you. I'll take a look at OzVFR too. I doubt I will be doing any riding this week end recovering from 2 broken hands I rode out to Campbeltown today to see my accountant the 20mins there and back was a bit much for my thumb. I Got hit buy a truck at Warrickfarm about 7 weeks ago.. Don't worry I wasn't on the VFR :-) I'm keen to start doing some touring but don't want to push my recover to hard. I like to take off for a few days at a time and live out of my panniers, but some day trips sound like fun
Volfy
Great touring setup! I like your powerplug install. Might just have to copy it on mine. Looked like your VFR1200 sat in the warehouse for some time. I'm sure the dealer was glad to see it "adopted".
