just started a rc45 replica using a rvf400 fairing and race seat unit, lots of work to do, exhaust clocks brackets and a paint job,

thinking of fitting round headlights to the nose cone.

That's funny because I'm replacing Mr.RC45's round bug eyes with the blended NC35 head lights to look more like the RC45 endurance racer...

I always found teh NC 35's nose to be much more attractive than the 45's because of the sleeker headlight design.

Maybe another kewhl project can also be just grafting in the NC35 lights/nose on to a 4th gen?? Not to make a "replica racer" but just to update/improve the nose of the bike...

Great project... I was wondering if NC35 body work would fit around a VFR!

I was looking at Tyga's website last night pondering a very similar project with a 5th gen...

Is that OEM Honda body work or after market?

hi, its all after market, fibre glass but not in bad nick,

only bit of tyga on this is the screen brace from a old rvf400 I crashed,

my mate as a full tyga body kit with lights and rear sub frame,

from my old bike.

changed the lines on tank and fairing,

going to use this paint style

fitting a digital dash

then book a track day at oulton pk, see how it goes.

Do you have the side mounted VFR radiators under the RVF400 body work?

Did it require any widening or re-fabricating to get it to fit around the radiators or are you planning on fitting some front mount rads?

I'm pretty sure this is an NC35 so it has a double radiator mounted in front of the headers.

Yes, the Camel bike is an NC35 and has the front mounted radiators... the project bike he is working on is a VFR750 with NC35 body work, that is the bike I was inquiring about the rads. I don't see any front mounted radiators so I didn't know if they were installed yet or if he was able to squeeze the side mounted VFR rads behind the NC35 body work.

I'm looking at buying some NC35 body work for my track bike and I would love to have input from some one who has put it on a VFR... especially, how it relates to the radiators and whether I have to reconfigure the cooling system to have front mounted rads to work with the NC35 body work.

All sorted now, rad and oil cooler in the same place as before with just some mods to the under side of the top fairing and the v panel in front of the rad,

ordered a digital dash and a new screen,

My bad... as Toe1959 pointed out it is a 4th gen with a front rad...

I think the mismatched wheels look good on that bike!

Agreed!

The black front carries forward the black decal & forks nicely, while the white wheels does the same on the rear.

Looks great!
