  1. I banned about 5 spammers, and delt with a bad thread, issued a temporary ban for inappropriate behaviour. For the most part this place polices itself but once in a while I have to step in and let people go, or at least put them in vfrd jail. Hate that, I hate that, I hate having to do that sort of thing. In any case i have not been able to get the server mail function to work, I am at my wits end. I am sure its probably some syntax thing in the configuration but it just wont sent out mail for notifications, and I have not been getting notified when bad things happen here. Working on it.

  11. Thanks for doing what you do, and for giving us this space to talk and learn about our VFR's.

  12. I prefer the Techspec tank protectors because they peel off easily to adjust them if needed or remove them and re-use on another tank (I've done that many times), some of the other ones I've came across in past are one time use and a pain to remove and leave marks on the paint.

  13. Chain needs lube too. The O or X-ring only seals the inner bushing and pin. But roller to outside of bushing interface is not sealed. You need an oil with extreme-pressure/extreme-temperature additives for this as there's metal-to-metal contact (motor-oils won't work). Honda's OEM sprockets are some tough stuff! They can certainly last 2-3x as long chain. I have yet to find any 3rd-party aftermarket sprockets that'll last as long!

  14. Sucked me in, too - like a moth to the flame. The "S" means "supercharged" - ya? That's what I'll take out for a spin while I've got fresh Depends on and am waiting for my dentures to soak. Oh, wait - that's what I'm doing now . . . Damned if they'll keep me from riding!
