Highrevs
Hi there, After stumbling over very interesting topics on this forum I finally decided to register today. I'm a french guy living in Vienna for 6 years now, where I enjoy the awesome mountains roads all over the country. I ride a stock VFR RC24/2 1989 which I saved a couple of time from the slaughter (engine change, crash, numerous electrical problems). I definitly love this bike, though I'd welcome some improvements, mainly a better front end. Happy to belong form now on to the community. Cheers :smile2:

Highrevs
Hi, Many thanks for your warm welcome and "merci" to Polarbear So here are some pics of my bike. There's still some fixing to do following my road accident last February, for eg the tank to get repaint in black, but anyway it's complete and I can ride it. I'll of course post reports&pics of my next trips. Cheers

Member Contributer JZH Posted June 4, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted June 4, 2015 You were riding in Austria in February? No wonder you crashed! Austria's great, though the low-ish speed limits and road tolls are a bit of a bummer. I quite liked the signs on the twisty roads, aimed at motorcyclists, saying "Give your guardian angel a chance!" Vienna is sublime. I spent several months there studying German and it was great. Spoiled only slightly by the fact that the tediuous "Before Sunrise" was filmed there, lol... Welcome. Ciao,
Highrevs
Hi JZH, thanks for your message. Glad to read that you also had a chance to enjoy vienna. My crashed was due to a mistake, it could have happened in summer too. yes, funny sign, and I like when on a speed limit sign you can read "also available for bikers". cheers
