Member Contributer ADAM79 Posted September 21, 2013 Member Contributer Share Posted September 21, 2013 I'm running Angel GT's on the C14 and was wondering if anyone else Has these rub marks on there tire?? Doesn't look like they have rubbed on the Bike anywhere that I can see. They seem to be spaced out evenly Around one side of the tire. Tire . fabio222
Does the Concours need a special "heavy" rated tyre? If so, is the Angel GT suitable for that? I remember that the old Angel ST had a standard variant and a "heavy" variant for bikes such as yours. Might be worth checking that and an email to Pirelli with a picture wouldn't hurt. I, for one, would love to know the true answer.

Member Contributer Dutchy Posted September 22, 2013 Member Contributer Share Posted September 22, 2013 Asked on the dutch vfr forum. It might be your hugger or something else dragging. Especially if only one side has them.

Member Contributer Dutchy Posted September 23, 2013 Member Contributer Share Posted September 23, 2013 It can't be the chain cos you you don't have one..... but did you fit the correct spec angel GT? as per Pirelli.com, this the one you need for your 1400 GTR 190/50 ZR 17 M/C (73W) TL - 2.9 BAR

A bit more angle on the curves and they are gone!!!
