  1. Hi and welcome. Where in Croatia are you? I have family near Rijeka, but from Bukovica.
  2. Yeah. I've been trying to keep some sort of tabs on this place. I don't think I've had a legitimate year of riding, or even wrenching, in 7 years or something, so haven't had much to contribute. Cool to see a lot of folks are still around.
  3. This is a good PSA to bring up for spring. Don't remember if it was my pants or jacket, but the armor fell apart and I replaced it with whatever STG was selling.
  4. Really appreciate all the work you do to keep this place open. It was a big part of my early motorcycle times. Helping pay the bills is the least I can do.
  5. Hi YoshiHNS, Thank you for your donation of --. We look forward to improving the forums with your donation. Thanks VFRDiscussion
  6. Can't help with a spare, but I have these sights bookmarked for various connectors. Maybe the plug is listed somewhere? It looks like the white plug is listed on the first listed link. https://www.cycleterminal.com/ecu-connectors.html https://www.corsa-technic.com https://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Elec__Products/Connectors/connectors.html
  7. If I was that worried about my R/R, I would replace it with a better unit. You can use a different brand sometimes, or just buy a better aftermarket. Think I had a GSXR1k on my 4th gen. My OEM one did fail, but I was still able to get myself home an hour or so away.
  8. The only TT VFR800 I remember was the one that had the gray front fairings. But it was still a stock standard VFR. Maybe it was for track marshalls? THINK the pic below is it.
  9. OEM or SKF fork seals are the only ones I would trust. I've heard enough All Balls not lasting long. Price isn't that different.
  10. Just a side comment, but I'd be cautious with those all balls fork seals. I've heard enough from people who have tried them that OEM or SKF are the only real options, considering the time involved to replace them.
  11. Was already supposed to be in Europe, so tagged this along on the trip. Flight booked to Vienna, taking a bus to Brno. No idea where the best place to stay. Take the bus back to Brno city on the 400 line? 402 line to Ricany? Sleep on the lawn at the track? Anyone been there before?
  12. Good pic of the bike, but a picture of the busted carb would be helpful too. I think the VTR250 would swap over more than the 750. The engines are similar.

  14. Vessel has a super nice long JIS screwdriver if you're looking for one.
  15. The consensus some decade ago was the 94-97 did around 500W total, with about 250W of that overhead for accessories.
  16. You got 11k out of a tire. Replace it and enjoy some twisties before the tire gets cupped from commuting again. Maybe get a tire that has a harder rubber on those sections.
  17. They are supposed to be developing new "bio" fuels that they will use for racing. MotoGP going a similar way. Some of the alternative fuels might be far enough along to support a race series, but not much more yet. Here's to hoping they get the artificial photosynthesis hydrogen production sorted and we can keep combustion engines around.
  18. Can't wait for good electric dirtbikes so we don't have to deal with noise mandates. It will take a few years after at least for them to figure out another reason to ban dirt tracks.
  19. A two lap sprint winner takes all final? Yeah. That sounds awful. Racing was much better when Marquez would seal the championship with 4 rounds to spare. And yes, I know it was more complicated than that. And still, I don't care. Hamilton could have had it if he took defensive lines.
  20. I hope that basket isn't sitting on the bottom of the tank. That's how you wear holes and get leaks.
  21. You can try. I've been fine laying a rag over the hot parts and reach in bare handed. Either used a tiny screwdriver or a socket. It's not a fun job either way. I think the longer screws might make it harder to reach.
  22. I use normal Gates fuel line for runs that aren't super twisty. Bought a 25ft spool. Set for life. If I have any tricky bends like 180's, I use stainless pipe and a pipe bender. The clear plastic fuel line seems good in a pinch, but I don't feel it will hold up as well as true fuel line will. Motion Pro sells some very nice (but expensive) fuel line that can do tight bend radii.
  23. Really neat. Thanks for sharing.
