  1. got nothin' better to do... and it was interesting reading the evolution of the header build. Btw I wasn't the 1st member to ask that question and he didn't get as much flack as I did so I think it only fair for those who commented to my post go back through the thousand pages of posts to find the 1st post and retroactively give him some of what I got.

  2. They're on page 26, along with the info on how to purchase the files, which is why I wanted to locate the post... and it only took me 90 minutes. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

  3. I make enough popping and gurgling sounds myself, I don’t like my exhaust to mimic me 👴🏼

  4. I think there is a short metal backing piece under the chain guard, nearly impossible to see or reach into which the screw goes. I'll have to go out and have another look but I remember having a heck of a time getting that attached in the past. I'll update later.

  5. No flack mate. Now going back thru the thread for yourself you found 'this' story and its history and feel good about yourself for doing so, yes? And I commend you for doing so

  6. I'm pretty sure the butterflies are factory set and there is a warning in the service manual to leave them alone.

  8. So... this past Saturday morning my wife hears a variety of motorcycles cruising up our street and parking at my neighbor's house. 6 riders were planning a day trip to Elkhart Lake (Road America track town), Kettle Moraine area, I asked to tag along (my first group ride in 15 years). The idea was to visit a REALLY cool place called Throttle Stop https://throttlestop.com/ in this beautiful little resort town, have lunch at a Tiki bar, then cruise the county roads up and around Lake Winnebago, eventually back to Oshkosh. We stayed off the main highways as much as possible of course, keeping

  10. Parking brake is rubbish. Don't get used to it. After adjusting it works only for couple hundreds kilometres. It's easier to learn how to live with out it as I found it unreliable.

  12. Jozef - our favorite dyno technician in the world and head of tuning at Attack Performance - has provided the maps he built on the dyno for: 5 gen VFR800 tuned with Power Commander 3 6 gen VFR800 tuned with Power Commander 5 8 gen VFR800 tuned with Power Commander 5 These maps will work well on any 5th, 6th, or 8th gen VFR800 with the new performance headers, a good quality hi-flow air filter [We prefer the K&N HA-8098 filter] and a good quality slipon muffler. If you have purchased these headers and would like to utilize one of these maps to optimize

  13. What can i say i was just pointing out the obvious. I am vey happy with the header nevertheless i have purchased several headers for my other motorcycles kerker, akra and hindle and never had clearance issues. I applaud the commitment to get the header into production and to rectify the issue in other runs. I just don't understand the snide comments. I don't recall anyone jumping all over the guy who was aggravated over the exhaust gasket size.
