GET BENT!!!

My choices are red, blue, silver or black (smoked)

The supplier I'm going with only has those colours.

I was leaning towards red as there are already a few red accents on the bike and my textile suit is red/black.

Smoked lines, red banjos. Option? You could always spray the chrome/silver banjo ends with Duplicolor red Metalcast. Personally, I think bright glossy brake lines look tacky. But that's just my opinion.

  • 3 weeks later...

Got the swingarm mounted, still have to clean the needle bearings in the rear drive hub and regrease, reinstall.

Did get the new cush drive rubbers installed though, and of course, all the swingarm and shock linkages thoroughly cleaned, and regreased/torqued.

Pardon the lousy lighting and flash flare in the garage.

Swingarm all prettied up, rear hub was dismantled, bearings cleaned, repacked with fresh grease, and reinstalled.

New cush drive rubbers installed, and also the cush drive housing that I had powdercoated 2 years ago went on.

The one I WAS running up till this time was only spraypainted.

Can you guess what's next?

What made you decide against running the lines through the swing arm?

The hugger has some nifty retainers on top to hold the brake lines, and I kinda like them. If the lines went through the swingarm, there would be bare spots on top where the threaded inserts are anchored into the CF, and nothing to attach there.

Sorry Seb, I went 180' to your recommend. Red lines, Black Banjos.

I think there is enough black on the bike, time to toss in a couple more red accents.

I've got something else that's red up my sleeve too, but I can't say until it's finished. Tee Hee.

Can I ask for some specs?

Looking for your length measurements on the fronts and the clutch line.

Fronts look like straight banjo's and angled on the clutch. That right?

Who made 'em?

Http://Www.apexbrakes.com is the guy who made them for me. Raymond Chan is the guys name. He was very good to deal with, and It was $135 for all five lines.

I'll get the measurements for you soon, was it just the front lines you were interested in, brake/clutch?
