From the album: my trips
In 1998 I jumped back to the VFR fold with this brand new VFR800. Resprayed wheels improve visual and a Yoshimura RS3 helps unleash the aural. Unfortunately this bike met an untimely end when it was stolen less than a year, and 25K km later.© Lorne Black

From the album: my trips
In the fall of 2004 I bought this '92 VFR. It had about 40K km then and when I took this shot in early '07 that was up to 70K. By then I had stripped the paint from the fork legs, repainted the wheels from the original silver, fitted the UK market graphics, and added the very same Supertrapp can I'd had on my '91 10 years before. After 4½ years and 55K km I sold it and bought my 3rd VTR1000F. I see a pattern forming.© Lorne Black

From the album: my trips
After taking this shot on SR62 I realized I was still wearing earplugs - oops. Near joshua Tree NP. I bought this, my first VFR, in 1993. Only two years old with less than 4000km. After adding another 90K km over the next four years I sold it and bought my first - of three - VTR1000F.© Lorne Black

By then I had stripped the paint from the fork legs, painted the wheels white (originally silver), added Y2K mirrors, fitted the UK market graphics, and added the very same Supertrapp can I'd had on my '91 10 years before. After 4½ years and 55K km I sold it and bought my 3rd VTR1000F. I see a pattern forming.© Lorne Black
