6th gen VFR 800 VTEC owner for nearly 9 years. 
On most Facebook forums but never posted on here. I do have lots to share. 
 

My modified 2002 6th Gen VFR800 VTEC
Mods include;


8th Gen rear wheel, axle and brake disc
8th Gen front forks, wheel, brake discs, brake calipers, fender.
8th Gen rear wheel hugger
Modified stock exhaust
Power commander 5
Dyno jet quick shifter.

ABS delete (for 8th gen front end)

Pair valve delete

air box flapper delete 
Braided brake and clutch lines
MOSFET RR upgrade
Modified rear footpeg hangers
Tapered head stock steering bearings

heated grips

adjustable levers

USB bracket

clear front indicators

clear indicator light cluster rear

dark bubble screen

aftermarket CBR600 mirrors

lowered footpegs.

Interesting colour - is it oe? Can't remember seeing a 6th in that colour.

I agree that all your mods suit the bike, though the 10-spoke wheel is my fave.

What do you make of the 8 Gen forks? Have you got them standard or resprung (linear?) and/or reshimmed?

OE colour here in the uk. Lots of them about but none like mines. 😅

 

I had to have rear wheel from the 8th gen. It’s so beautiful. I did this a few years ago then did the front 18 months later.

Standard 8th gen forks are better than all previous gen’s but I had to swap out the stock spring for a linear one. This compliments the stock compression shim stack fairly well. The stock compression shims are far stiffer than any other gen bike.

 

I always find rebound far too quick and have shimmed to it so it’s comparable to 2010 CBR1000 RR. So much better
