🤣

Flavored whiskies are big right now.  Skrewball was one of the first big peanut butter ones, now there are a bunch.  It's almost like a liqueur, very sweet.  You can drink it on it's own but best mixed with other things.  Try pouring a little in a standard rye whiskey, or even drizzling over some vanilla ice cream.

Great photo, Dutchy.

I won't be travelling this year, but your trip photos are making that easier to live with. Thanks

Got round to finishing clutch work on the Kanguro.

Being a dry clutch, it has 2 oil seal at the back of the outer basket.

Replacing requires taking the left carter of to get to them. Only way to separate basket from main gear.

The OEM nuts holding the clutch springs are a poor design, so some aftermarket solution was fitted

The oil leak had fouled the plates a bit, making them do  Brian Ferrh song....

Once cleaned and fitted, pulling the clutch gives that traditional Ducati (and Aermacchi) sound 😉

I hope it’s OK to continue the MBD confessions and I hope Leon won’t get mad at me too much for hijacking his thread 🙂

Here is number 9 bike in my garage, a ‘23 Honda CB750 Hornet. Why did I buy it? Because after retiring, I decided to take all my bikes to my parents house in a coastal vacation town by the Eagean Sea called Cesme since I live there most of the time. I bought a 21 m2 container to store them (picture attached). I also have a motorcycle trailer but I didn’t fancy taking a particular bike back and forth to Istanbul too much when I go back there. The ingenious solution? Buy another bike to keep in Istanbul of  course 🤪. I checked the Turkish version of Craig’s List for a cheap second hand bike and I must admit, I looked at the 6th gen VFRs but the deal on the Hornet was too good to pass. It was actually the same price as a very clean red ‘05 VFR that I was checking (just like my old one). I also always fancied a naked/standard lightweight middle class bike as I love the combination of right amount of power and ease of use in a lightweight package.

Within 5 minutes of taking the delivery of the bike I knew that it was the right choice. So much so that decided to take it to a 7 day tour of Dolomites in Italy over my KTM SA-S. It was the easiest bike to ride in the tight mountain roads and huge fun. The whole trip was around 4000 kms and the bike performed quite good even on the highways (though the KTM would’ve been much more comfortable)…

Since I was going to spend the summer in Cesme after the tour, I decided to bring the Hornet here as well. No point in keeping it alone in Istanbul right? I wonder if I should look for a clean red 6th gen (red of course) for Istanbul. Number 10 is a nice round number after all 😝
