Post A Picture Of Your Vfr

If you are talking about the 6th gen, they were not marketed as VFR's. They were only called Interceptors.

Ooh i see.

So they come from the factory with no stickers on the front side fairing?

Cheers

Sorry to hijack this thread with that question.

I couldnt look at another vfr without thinking 'its missing its sticker, wonder if its been sprayed' haha

To make it up to you.

Hes a pic of my 6th gen with its new 8 spoker on after id had both wheels powdercoated, and the VFR sticker im talking of.

Will go out and get a few decent pictures of it when the weathers right and I've recovered from my op.

Cheers.

Well not exactly correct. Although my '07 had no markings other than the "Interceptor" on the tail (which you have to look real close to see), my '03 has a big VFR tag.

Looking back at these, I gotta say I loved that deep red colour.

Another (probably silly) question from me here haha.

Howcome do many of the US vfr's dont have the VFR sticker on the side on the plastics, above the radiators?

Do they have them as standard?

All the UK ones do, unless its had a bump and they havent been reapplied?

Interestingly, factory 6th gen hard bags sold in the US say "Interceptor" on the badge. The bags I got from the UK say "VFR" on them. Similar to how the 1000RR is known as the Fireblade in Europe, that nomenclature is not used in the US. Apparently it's all in the local marketing . . .

VFR is the same in most European languages... Interceptor isn't.

First ride of 2015!!!

Beautiful 72°F and bright sunshine... saw a little brook and stopped for a photo op. Would have been better with a decent camera instead of my phone, sorry...
