The red coating on the valve covers and brake calipers is ceramic?

I love the red heads (valve covers)!

Hmmm... nuts not available to fit 90-97 VFR750. :-(

Yeah the same with Pro-Bolt, they sell aluminium sprocket nuts....... but not for the VFR750.......

The mind boggles....

Nope, its still powder coating. Ceramic only on exhaustsystem.

Love those Beringer rotors!

Good to know, thx!

You are first person. Everybody says thats good for cruiser, not for sport&tour, but in my intention was a heavy look effec. I think my goal is reach.

Everybody says thats good for cruiser, not for sport&tour,

The cast Iron Beringer rotors (it would not surprise me if yours are too) like the ones on the 3rd gen in the pic below are most suited for track use.

No it's not a bad choice at all. It's good for street use too (sport/touring) and they look good, very different from what's common. This is what Braketech says about using cast iron rotors.

WHY SHOULD I CONSIDER CAST IRON BRAKE ROTORS OVER STAINLESS STEEL?

Over the years, cast iron has proven itself to be an excellent rotor material providing superior "feel" and producing a higher coefficient of friction at the friction couple. If you're looking for genuinely improved performance in terms of both braking power and modulation, then this is for you. If rain and or high humidity is the rule and rust potential a concern, you may wish to consider the alternative in our new AXIS range which is now offered in premium 400 series Stainless Steel as well.

The only downside is the potential rust.
