Guest
Dear guys. Where to buy these replica farings used in this topic? Echelon3, I like the way you have build it. The fuel tank you have used is it the original from a VFR750? And where have you got your replica farings? Thanks Morten Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
AndreasH
Hello Morten, Echelon3´s bike is the "original replica", all self made farings spiced with som genuine NR-parts. This beautiful bike inspired me to build my own NR-replica. I found "NR-Replica" fairings for a CBR900 on poly25.com. It is fiberglass fairings that can (with more or less effort) be adapted to the VFR. So maybe there is a third NR replica-build coming? And all in Skandinavia.. Helweg
Well leon nothing much has happend finished welding exhaust Wiring is attached, all electric is full function The rear is packed with heat shields to protect the electronics, gas pump relays and most important ( my balls ) It doesn't look at much, but it takes a hell of a time to put all that stuff in such a small place I'm planning a longer test tour in week 32 when I come home from vacation. Helweg
Looks clean i white - my thoughts has been matte black with gold decals and wheels - I have also made some test paint with matte red - but I've desided it's gonna be similar to the original, shining red and black. the wheels stay gold until paintjob is finished then we'll se if they are gonna be black to

Helweg
I didn't cut the frame cause I'm using the origimal holes for the subframe - some might think it is a wrong dessision, that's ok with me - I don't think it looks that bad, perhaps black colour will hide them a little. TheStig
There was an NR750 sold quite cheaply in Japan this week (Equivalent of around $24,000 USD). http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f142920225 A Japanese spec example, so "Only" 75 bhp.
