  6. Yeah, winters are a biatch.... Makes the SP2 hard to spot... On topic: Am still tempted to pick up a RWB VF750F and do "a Captain 80's".....
  7. Garage workspace? Here is mine!
  8. No, but why would you want to? A manual override switch does make -more- sense: I fitted a simple one on my RC51
  9. Heatsink paste is best applied in a very very thin layer. Well, it was back in the early 80's when I built PC's

  17. I bought the 1954 Gilera from a guy who is 84..... He just ordered a new Royal Enfield...
  18. Welcome to VFRD from across the pond While you wait for your banana VFR, there's no harm in posting pictures of previous rides.....
  19. 1987 eh? I know where it got its side fairing air scoop from.... From his 1986 brother
  20. Rothko revisited....... Well over 3 years ago I visited Dvinsk/Daugavpils as part of my "Ace of Spades" tour. Destination the Rothko centre as my wife loves his work. Saw my 1st Rothko there, sat there for a while just discovering the piece on display. A larger piece is on exhibition atm and the museum offered the possibility the be "alone with Rothko" for an hour prior to regular opening hours. The room all to yourself, I brought some of my favourite tunes as well.. With redslut R.I.P. it seemed fitting to take the SP vs train&bus, despite the light drizzle and low temps... Rotho produces captivating images no? And......... if the opportunity arrises.............. a windmill picture is called for!
  21. not mine though....
  22. And some TLC too..... Washing of any road salt remnants and setting proper slacjs
