This photo intrigues me.... I think the composition could be improved by adjusting the camera angle/level so that the reflection of the road ahead and the image of the road behind appear to have the same vanishing point. That would really pull me in. After that.... a little photo shopping to rid the reflected image of your camera and you would have one super-cool-poster-quality photo. -

I too had been wondering why you were going through all this. Now it makes perfect sense to me. Good job cutting a path through the forest. I'll be following this more out of curiosity than necessity. It should make for some interesting reading. I saw your other post regarding a code reader too. That should make for some interesting information. -

Nice write up. I enjoyed reading it. It was great to share a beer and a little bit of conversation with you. I wish you would have stayed here, or you could have had all of Mom and Dad's place to yourself, they were in Texas. I would have gave you a key so you could come-n-go. As always, you're welcome here or there if your travels should bring you across on the northern route.

CHiPs was one of my favorite shows as a kid..... I always thought it was because of the car crashes... I think I now understand the real reason.... -

It was a good weekend to be at TMAC in North Carolina. -
That is very similar to the Santa Fe Trail crossing at Overbrook, KS. But the rocks in the field suggest to me that this photo isn't Kansas. -

I suspect it's some kind of an organized ride where you have to reach certain checkpoints, document them with a photo and return to the start in the quickest time possible. The banner on the tank is probably not issued until the day of the ride to prevent a participant from visiting the checkpoints beforehand and cheating. I would sure like to see a post about tying in the aux fuel tank. -

Nice, Anik.... Bring a couple of 2.0 inchers for a 6th gen with you on your next trip :cool:... I've seen that done before with silver and then black paint on the areas where the maker didn't want light to shine through (ie. back at the rider)
