Member Contributer Cogswell Posted July 12, 2020 Member Contributer Share Posted July 12, 2020 PM BusyLittleShop. Many members have the lowering blocks. An inch lower will make a lot of difference. You probably can't go much if any lower as you'll run in to issues. As it is you'll need to clearance the side stand and work out the brake and shift levers. Member Contributer Dutchy Posted July 14, 2020 Member Contributer Share Posted July 14, 2020 Ok, let's run a game with our American brothers Place a (small) red dot on the map where you believe Denmark lies.
thepretender
To be honest most Americans can't put a red dot on Mexico or Canada.
HighwayStar2009
Installed the BLS blocks on my '09. I only clocked the gear lever a bit. Didn't bother with the foot brake. Much better riding position!
eNiMaLx
I found that the low position of the handlebars will put excessive pressure on my knee caps during riding. 0.75" bar risers and my problem was solved. Your mileage may vary as I'm 5'11.5" tall with an inseam of 32".
Member Contributer Dangeruss Posted August 10, 2020 Member Contributer Share Posted August 10, 2020 I just installed a set of Peg Blocks this week, first rate product, very happy. A bit of tweaking to get right, shifter and brake adjustment, and side stand stopper, but no big deal if you are remotely mechanically competent. Probably 2 hours start to finish. Member Contributer Dangeruss Posted August 10, 2020 Member Contributer Share Posted August 10, 2020 It was $25 CDN, not a big deal. Canada Customs retaliating for me importing American aluminum 😁
