The Phantom
There's worse things you could do to a classic... I love its new persona.
V4 Rosso
Although I prefer the the stock look, I like the Mad Max version, well executed.
Member Contributer YoshiHNS Posted October 1, 2013 Member Contributer Share Posted October 1, 2013 It's very Mad Max-esque, and I think they did a sweet job on it. It does look pretty cool on those pics. But yes, shame if it was done to a good condition one, but with how many minty clean ones are out there, chances are low it was a clean one. tcooper
Not sure I like the look, especially on a 1000r. I think they did a better job on the zx7.

86VF1000R
Successful BECAUSE it is so different- probably a blast to ride as well. Agreed that only a basket case should be used for such diversions.
sburns2421
I wouldn't mind those Leo Vince GP pipes on mine. I bet it sounds pretty good near 10k.
Veefer800Canuck
Yeah, it looks all tough with the steel exoskeleton, but you every try to mud wrestle a 600 Lb dirtbike??? I'd take a stock pristine 1000R any day over that dirty bike conversion thingy. Or Tom's Mutant 1000R. #hellya
VFR4Lee
but you every try to mud wrestle a 600 Lb dirtbike??? No, but I bet I could have that thing pinned to the mat mud right quick. You didn't say anything about picking it up though. Nevermind, that's very different then.
Member Contributer dalesvfr Posted October 10, 2013 Member Contributer Share Posted October 10, 2013 Why should the BMW adventure set have all the fun? I think it looks great. Hope they geared it down a bit.
