Member Contributer skuuter Posted October 5, 2010 Member Contributer Share Posted October 5, 2010 Well, Mitzie and I, along with a mixture of VFRD and SEMF Folks have spent the last 4 days with Olive ridin' places like The Dragon, Cherohala Skyway, 129, North Georgia 60, Blood Mountain, 68, etc., etc. ....You get the idea. We left Her in good hands in North Georgia with VFRD Members Blesk, Strap, and Daisy Sunday thinkin' it was our last meet-up on this Trip, but a call yesterday had me eatin' in Manchester, and Olive spendin' the night at our house in Estill Springs...after a little more ridin' this mornin' I'll be sendin' Her to Baileyrock for Her next leg on Her Journey. Here are a few Pics of Her Ride so far after pickin' up Her new VFR in Charlotte, NC..... Ridin' behind Her through Hwy 129, The Dragon and Cherohala..... Ridin' North Georgia Hwy 60..... One day I'll have to make a trip down there, too. Still a bit of paperwork to do, but that is taken care of after I get home and before I can register the bike. Low 30s tonight making for a chilly ride. A chilly ride, riding at 27F for a while. It always is a few degrees warmer in the city. Here's the last picture of the trip. The odometer started out at "0" when I left Charlotte, North Carolina on October 1st. I will post up a proper ride report with images in the next few days.
