Guest sigsauer33
Yes I was bored last night DSC00785.JPG DSC00786.JPG If you are interested on how to make one of these here is the directions. Ride you bike at about 45 MPH Make sure that you find a curve with a spot of gravel at the APEX Take the turn at full lean angle And ensure you hit the gravel! After you and your bike stop sliding you will have made the perfect coat hanger!!!

Guest motorhead1977
I have several that were custom made by Sharon when she was learning to ride and one from a tip over at very slow speed on a VF that is long gone years ago now. Hmmmmmmmmm maybe payitforward or I could ebay them and retire? LOL
Member Contributer FJ12Ryder Posted February 8, 2009 Member Contributer Share Posted February 8, 2009 Excellent foresight, not everyone plans out their ride that far ahead. :fing02: But yeah, I'll think I'll stick to the generic, boring coat hangers. You just have to wait until your body heals a few months before you install the hanger. :fing02:
Heikes
That's a very good idea, I will have to remember that whenever I get new levers. Then when I build my bike garage/extra nice shed I will have to put a couple in there for hanging gear like that. Very cool.
soichiro
Very cool. I save all of my old parts. I have several of those pre-fabricated. Too bad thats like a $1200 coat hanger. I save most old bike parts. I store them neatly so my gargae doesnt look like a dump. Old parts have saved me several times. A guy I use to work with made a wind chime from an old chain and several old sprockets. It turned out really nice.
