    Same nice road

Looks like you can ride really well!
  3. gsxr tail, gsxr headlight with cut fairing, cbr 600rr complete front end, cbr 600rr controls and gauge cluster, r1 rear sets, honda civic rear rim Great job - How 'bout a side shot in the sunlight?
  4. Dude, I thought you welded or brazed or something like that.
  5. I'm running the VTR fan as well, and it does fine for what I do. --- I think what it really comes down to is that it's better to tune the cooling gear to your own specific environment that you find your ride in the most.
  6. My '98 is a CA model - vin goes JH2RC4610xxxxxxxxx. There are some obvious difference for the Ca models. - Charcole canister. - Evap control solenoid valve on right side of bike. - Vacuum emission routing is from the solenoid valve and splits into 4. Hard to miss all that. Yet when I bought mine, checking the see if the bike was a Ca model wasnt even on the radar. Dunno how a Ca model makes it to Ohio. VRFcapn did the cam switch and verified there is about 1mm more lift in the 49 state cams. If you go to Partzilla, they break it into 49state and Ca models. http://www.partzilla.com/parts/search/Honda/Motorcycle/2001/parts.html Looks like the shorter lobe height cams are P/n --141x0 - MBG- 770 ......and the taller lobe height cams are p/n - 141x0- MGB- 000
  7. The XX should then mate to the F4i tubes fine....(take the F4 guts if you have them) -- If you are buying new triples, spot check on partzilla; 6th gen are a tick cheaper. Cant comment on how the XX triples mate or dont mate, but by the fische, they're different. -- Not saying at all to use F4i triples. The longer fork tube should be better - but -- The 5th gen in stock geometry steers like a truck, and on mine, I ended up dropping the front roughly 8 mm and raised the rear another 10mm (at least)
  8. Kinda confused on what parts you have. - If you have a full set of F4i forks, use that. - You will need 6th gen triple set. - Also for a drop in clip ons, use 6th gen. - Stock wheel and rotors are fine. - Probly need a different master cylinder. I thought XX forks were 41mm? Correct me if I'm wrong. (F4i are 43mm) Should you do it - Absolutely!
  9. Hi I think FotoMoto has be long gone and moved on - the last post was 2010. --- I still think his bike is beautiful!
  10. Hey buddy, the link is broken. Are you still offering the block off plates? Yea -- - I'm still offering them. - I pm'd HS about the link.
  11. That's funny, that's the first thing I thought of in the pic. It does look like a scale model bike in front of a toy model building.
  12. I'm with JZH... what work was done on the conversion?
  13. Seems like passenger pegs or body work would hit before the axle would....
  14. To summarize - shipping to Canada $9.00 ----- to UK --- $16.00 Please PM your interest Thanks!
  15. I'll dig into how to ship to UK. I think it has to go by USPS. Get back to you soon. btw- vfrcapn and CR were my tryout guinea pigs....looks like they are fine...
  16. MD will have to chime in, I got a prototype discount. Looks like $29.95 plus 5.80 shipping USPS. Fasteners included. These are 6061-T6 aluminum, CNC laser cut. Minor polish finish. Exact shape of the OEM valve. Gotta give a thanks to Capn for doing the tryout on the prototypes. Oh yeah fit 5th/6th (8th?) -- Working on 7th soon. Damn, - it do look good, dont they? PM interest please.

  19. If your can stick both fingers in your ears and you have a multimeter, you can test the R/R and the Stator. -- So, do you have a multimeter?
