I wonder if it is a "Honda" model, though.  Like the police version of the 5th gen wasn't actually an RC46: it was an RC49, and had several changes vs the civilian model...

Front brakes and forks look stock, also it has passenger pegs, which i would guess are unnecessary on a Police bike....they added the aux lighting though, so it received more attention than just reflective decals.  Interesting

 

Anyone able to find details?

Curious what else is modified on thebike... engine? Exhaust? Electrical?

 

Do they ride these for show or actually in the field while making arrests?

I'm sure it would do a better job of keeping up with speeders than the Harley pigs most departments around here use. Doing multiple 12-hour shifts every week on one might not be as pleasant, though.
