Absolutely Awesome, 1st to 11th on the grid, within 5/10ths of a second. Tomorrow will be a absolute cracker of a race, can't wait. :wheel:

Rossi loves Assen and always does well there.

But usually not in qualifying...

I just heard that tomorrow is the last Saturday Assen TT--how sad!

Ciao,

Always enjoy the posts & pics from the Netherlands. How do you guys feel about the Sunday change for next year?

Sad news....

As if 4th july would be on any Sunday nearest to the actual date so there wiuld be a higher food turnover...

Nothing is sacred....

it is already the largest sport event, sold out....

it is tv rights bringing in more money... Sad but true..

Great news, there will be even more spectator's there next year, with the race being on the Sunday.

I don't know, last week there were not many tickets still available. Not sure if tomorrow there will be any still available at the gate.

How do you guys feel about the Sunday change for next year?

Personally I'd prefer it to stay a saturday event, especially when camping for a few days at the track. Enjoy the race with a few friends and beers, small afterparty and a good night's rest before packing up and heading back home again.

I see that Rossi isn't using the brake lever protector in qualifying. I wonder if that is a mistake, or they don't need it but for the actual race.

Prices will rise again, guranteed

GT chicane is already more than 100 euro.

I gave up going years ago when pricing became silly imho

Prefer going to WSBK

But as the song goes

And did we tell you the name of the game, boy?
We call it Riding the Gravy Train.
