SEBSPEED
Those pegs are very rough on boots. And even worse on your shins when moving the bike, don't ask me how I know!
AB-Oz
yeah those are just solid bolt-ins, I want something similar but with the pivot...
SEBSPEED
Good luck to you, I have not seen any available that match your description. I prefer the rubber-topped oem pegs myself. The 6th gen or CBR600F4/F4i are nice, IMO.
Member Contributer KevCarver Posted September 26, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted September 26, 2012 I swapped out my stock rubber topped pegs for RC51 pegs. Pretty sure the late model CBR pegs are the same.
Veefer800Canuck
Ab, find a set of foot pegs for a 1986-1989 VFR750. They are all aluminum and bolt right on. They also match the passenger pegs perfectly!!
KanadianKen
I've replaced the rubber pads on my stock OEM pegs and it made a great improvement over the worn down pads. THey were inexpensive from mother Honda as well. I know you are asking about aftermarket styles - but thought I'd throw my comment your way in case you've overlooked the OEM condition. Member Contributer Africord Posted September 26, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted September 26, 2012 I haven't seen anything that aggressive for a VFR. I spotted these from LSL: http://www.pureperformancecycles.com/Products/Controls/Foot-Pegs---Mounts/LSL-Standard-Foot-Pegs I think they are similiar at least in concept, but anywhere as rough. My tastes run to a different direction: Buell Uly pegs.
Forum CEO HispanicSlammer Posted September 26, 2012 Forum CEO Share Posted September 26, 2012 I changed the title so it does not come off like a classified, since it is not. Dont want a whole slew of people posting classifieds in the forums (per the rules) in a domino effect.
Member Contributer 2thdr Posted September 26, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted September 26, 2012 I've seen folks use the Buell pegs that provide some lowering as well. http://ixxra.org/peglowering.htm That link is for a Blackbird I think, but they bolt on 5-6-7 gen VFR's
