Holy crap, Joe! That bike looks a-maz-ing! I'm really proud to've been the painter on that project. You've set the bar pretty high for anyone to replicate that beauty. It's gotta feel great. Congratulations. Makes me wish I could fly to Texas just to see it in person.

Mr Peabody just set the wayback machine for 1985...very nice.

Hard to overstate what a quality job from stem to stern that is.

Many thanks for all the compliments, believe it or not there are still a few loose ends to tie up.

- Rear brake is spongy, needs to be bled again

- Still looking for the OEM license plate holder

- Need to recondtion the left control housing

- Needs some detailing in areas

- Waiting on some OEM hardware

Is that a Kat on another lift in the background?

P.S. I was showing my wife a picture of your completed R and her first comment was "nice garage".

Thanks for posting the many up close pics of the complete bike, Joe. Out of all the bikes I paint and send back to their owners, I only see a handful of them back together again. It's always reassuring to see everything lines up the way it's supposed to. This bike and an RC30 have been my most challenging and favorite Hondas to do so far. Looking forward to the Katana!
