  1. They leave motorcycles alone in NJ. They would dare want to be responsible for scratching someone’s tank or spilling gas, lol but the credit card thing can be different from stations to station…in and out, swipe, wait until it tells you to remove card…it has caught me off guard when I do pump myself…
  2. just to comment on your costco experience...here in NJ, they are fueling 16 cars at a time, the Trucks come 6 times a day to refill tanks. They have the lowest prices in the area
  3. i'm sure you can create your own...the height is 20mm (.8"), maybe some rubber grommets along with multiple washers....the seat is also held up with the slot in the front of the saddle
  4. Agree on the back thing...make sure ground is level...put a pair of boots on, you want that rigid sole, put all your weight on stand and find a spot to grab on and pull up at the same time, I grab frame right above passenger foot rests. It’s a challenge. I found getting my old ST100 easier to get up on stand...had a swing out handle to lift from.
  5. stock setting is seven clicks in, most drop that to 3-4 for one up riding so stock setting plus 3 might be a good place to start
  6. Should also come with reflectors to mount on the sides if you want

  8. copied and pasted from my US 2014 Deluxe manual Tank capacity Unleaded petrol Recommended: 91 RON or higher 21.2 litres (5.60 US gal, 4.66 Imp gal)
  9. Can’t raise it much more that 1.25”, so motopumps would be the choice I suppose
  10. I agree....I guess that’s why the baby boomers are riding cruisers instead of sport bikes...I guess people like you and I just don’t see ourselves there.....yet! Lol. I went from a 92 ST1100 because it was just to heavy, to a vintage 92 FJ1200ABS that was also a little on the heavy side and becoming outdated to the VFR..
  11. Corbin will carve out the seat to make it deeper and raise the nose to prevent you from sliding forward, helps to sit up a bit and take the pressure off wrists
  12. It’s his bike right? Is he comfortable?
  13. Don’t let that get to you..I too have used amsoil. Cars, truck motorcycle for over 20 years, hi mileage vehicles, very extended drain intervals.....NEVER had a mechanical issue that was associated with lubrication, engine or drivetrain.
  14. Whoa...I think I paid 800 for the pearl white ones along with the two locks. The good news on the locks, first one took an hour....second one, 5 minutes.
  15. Did the same thing..between that and the motsport risers...what a difference
  16. just got the corbin...it must weigh close to 15 lbs....
  17. Seat cowl is standard, center stand comes with the deluxe. ABS, maybe you only need it to work once......I have the deluxe.
  18. Maybe on the first acceleration out the driveway on a cool morning, there is a slight hesitation on partial throttle...open it up an it goes...
  19. RPM increases in all gears, put it in any gear and start to let out the clutch...
  20. I hear ya, I have gotten used to,the two finger pull so my other fingers are between the lever and the grip.
  21. Okay, I stand corrected. Obviously, using only two fingers to pull in the clutch I am not pulling it in all the way to the grip, so I see the rpm rise when I put it in gear...but the switch obviously detects the gear lever also because there is no change when in neutral.
  22. hmmm, have to double check that....but then that means the engine revs between each gear change everytime i pull on the clutch? get back to ya later on this one...
  23. doesnt seem to have any connection to the clutch...my engine speed increases by that 250 rpm when i put it in 1st, pop it back into neutral and idle drops.
  24. Lane splitting I believe is illegal in 49 states, California is the only one not illegal.
