  1. Came across this article recently and after finally getting to make this ride this summer I felt compelled to post it. Definitely one of the best routes in the PNW and probably on the top of my list now. https://www.roadrunner.travel/tours/classic-roads-us-12-through-montana-and-idaho/
  2. Along Hwy 12 besides the Lochsa River in Idaho

Rattlesnake grade Hwy 3 heading North from Enterprise, OR
  4. Finally got to ride the infamouse Hwy12 across Idaho and got this photo of the iconic sign at the top of Lolo pass!
  5. Awesome! Thanks for sharing. I haven't done those routes yet and they have been on my list for a long time. I hope I can get up that direction this summer.
  6. Cool video. Thanks for posting!
  7. I've always used Plexus to clean/polish/protect my visor and windsheild. That seems to work pretty good for repelling the moisture.
  8. That was an awesome trip. Hope to get through that area again sometime next summer. Lots of recent fire destruction just west of this area.
  9. Very nice. I've always been a fan of the black & white 6th gen. Hope you don't mind if I use it for a new screen saver on my PC.
  10. Nice! I picked up a green one a few years ago. I haven't seen another one in the US yet. They seem to be exceedingly rare. Welcome to the site!
  11. Very well said. I remember meeting you at the 2010 meet in Troutdale, along with several other members of this site. I've enjoyed riding around the backroads in the PNW with you ever since. I just wish we had more time to be able to get out and do this more often. .....and thanks again to Miguel and all the other members of this site who continue to keep it alive and going!
  12. I'm with boOZZIE on this. As nice as that VFR looks, I think it's too much like your 6 gen. Plus you've put a ton of improvements into that bike over the years. My vote would be to get something different. I myself am starting to look at ADV bikes to supplement my 5th gen to cover some of the gnarlier backroads around the PNW. Good luck deciding!
