  1. The front centre is the engine crankcase breather. And if bike is normally stored on its side stand then any oil residue will run to the front left plastic intake trumpet & seep down between the plastic & metal throttle body. When engine runs the vacuum pressure will suck it on to the butterfly & into the intake. My 5th gen does the same on #3 pot, as the breather is in the rear right corner of the airbox. Don't worry about it.

  4. Love the yellow VFR decals Dangeruss, I just rolled over 100K last week on the ol' 98 Sorry to hear about your fuel up experience. I typically sit on the bike while fueling even though I know its not recommended to avoid any droppage.

  6. I hav I have one on my 6 Gen and when I installed it I added additional 3M tape so there was no break in the tape so it sealed completely. No grit can get through.

  7. That protector is probably the worst kind. It will trash your tank. Grit will get underneath it and scuff it beyond repair. Whats worse is that being so large you won't find another one bigger to cover up the damage. Ask me how I know.

  8. People who don't understand the importance of fuel efficiency and range have never ridden so far out there that if they ran out of gas they would die trying to walk back to civilization.

  10. I just mounted a set of Bridgestone T32 after many years on the PRs and Road5. Just a hundred miles so far, they are seeming a little stiffer. They replaced the oem Scorpion Trail tires on my Multi, so it's an improvement. DK has the T32 set for $250 so I thought I'd try them.

  11. The Coffman shorty without baffle sounds EXACTLY like my 6th gen with dual Delkevics. I just got the baffle delivered for the Coffman today, as I initially thought it was too loud. I’ll do a before / after video with / without baffle tomorrow
