It performs well enough though (top speed of the bike is some 130KMH). Some users have the chrome finish turned off for better perfromance But I won't bother. Ignition on, no clack from the electric fuel tab, no neutral light, no lights, no claxon. Engine starts and runs fine (with manual reserve tab). After some 10 minutes riding, lights, claxon works and the manual tab can be shut. Next time ignition on, same palaver. The culprit? The previous owner had soldered the end of the wire. Solder does not clamp very well (opposed to copper). So that was an easy fix. Great waistline! yeah the battery strap is way to long, so a bit of PVC to fill the gap 🙂 Blue tiewraps for a quick and dirty wire to my GPS... Thanks. I have a lead on spare cilinders.. Failing that, in 2,5 weeks I'll be in Milan, Italy on a large mc fair. I know there'll be an Italian gentleman with parts..... In the mean time, my commuter is a Honda again...
