Member Contributer elevation Posted September 20, 2008 Author Member Contributer Share Posted September 20, 2008 Superb narrative and pics!! Thanks for sharing. :lurk:  :rolleyes:Oh yeah, I really like the white bike luggage solution of hanging the sport saddlebags over the tail pack instead of the seat to avoid heat transfer/scratching/melting, etc. from the 6th gen pipes. What brand of tail pack/saddlebags are you using? Any problems with it sliding around at goofy lean angles? Thanks again. I used Joe Rocket saddlebags before. Then I bought Nelson Riggs CL-150 Tailbag. For the first two days of the trip they really were not working well together, then I had the brain storm of putting the JR bags on top of the tail bag and worked perfectly. It only moved about three inches either way but that all depended on how I packed stuff. As you can see in one of the pictures I had NO problem leaning it over. IT was super easy to take off and put on. Four bungie hooks and I was on my way.
