Holy Socks Dutchy! That thing is almost as old as you are. What is now the USA was an English colony. New Netherland was established in North America around that time. -

I can only wish I lived near there. My one trip from LA to the Columbia River Gorge was the most fabulous trip I've taken on my mc. And I stopped figuring how many miles I've rided my fifth gens at 190,000 miles. -
Quite a scenic picture. The Valley of Death has so little shade, at least the one time I went through, this must have been a rare occurence. So how hot was it? -
I have taken my Silver Hammer on my '01 Cool Breeze Vfr800fi on that very road quite a while ago. And it was glorious indeed. Thanks for the reminder. I wish I had been able to make the Custer Meet Up to hang with one of my favorite groups of peeps. Y'all rock. -

Your gear does not look very different from mine after a hooved forest rat KIA my first fifth gen at 65mph on I74 and but certainly less that again at 50mph 11 months later south of Duluth. I suppose you have adopted an attitude similar to what I did after that - GTBA - Glad To Be Alive (and Walking Around). Good healing and riding from here on.

It is a lousy place to park. It could interfere with a passing Road Runner and allow the Wile E Coyote to catch our hero. (His Mileage May Vary). -

I belive GreginDenver is Right On. This information on automobile hard braking to a stop and remaining on that super-heated area was the subject of a local motor mouth article explaining how brake rotors get warped. Well said Greg. BTW: I've done the free-the-rotor-buttons/bobbins proceedure without any negative impact.

Crazy Horse Monument in the background is looking good. But not nearly as good as your Fifth Gen! That is a fine example of the Best Generation VFR in the Fastest Color. Nice! -
