  5. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of Countries that use rulers, without naming them and p-ssing somebody off. Hmmmm. I can see how my post could maybe quickly become a problem. Let me say this before it happens: I was just trying to tease Dutchy, who usually has a pretty good sense of humor. Now, if I offended anyone because of this not so good (and even bad?) joke, I would like to apologize. It may have been a bad joke, but sometimes things do sound pretty funny in my own mind/world. Sorry again... C
  6. A ruler?? People still use rulers?? Isn't there an app for that or something???? Just teasing. Looks like it should do the trick. Can you feel the wires when you ride?? C

  13. Ok, it's Saturday night, the wife is in bed after caring for all three kids all day (one being a newborn) and I'm bored--nothing on tv. (yes, fire away with all the jokes...) So, I thought I would start this thread. Just wondering what mods you have in store for this year. As for me, I've got a few. I've been riding a few thousand km every year for the three or four year Ive owned my '03 and I now have a pretty good idea of what I need and want to make the ride better. I already have a few mods on this bike (helibars, vfrness, pcIII + O2 sensors, cramp buster thingy, Pazzo look-alike levers) but thought I could add more. In the last two years, I've been gathering some bits and pieces to install on it --haven't got time to install them yet: -speed bleeders (+abs pieces) -GSXR mirrors with integrated lights -new pazzo look-alike levers -don't ask... -Lascar voltmeter -steering head kit (wiremybike.com) -new Sargent seat!! Yay! With any luck, I'll be installing these parts this spring and enjoying them this summer. I hope you're all as excited as me to ride this summer!! Safe rising everyone!! C

Nice! If I didn't already have a 6th gen, I'd be tempted to look for one used. Of course, the right color... :-)

  16. Yeah, those houses must catch in thewind and produce drag, wouldn't you think? Good catch Mailman!! :-)
  17. Yup, we did get to conclude it without being rained on. Lots of pockets of rain on the island, but a wonderful place to ride. Just gotta watch out for LEO on long weekends....--ask me how I know...

    Temp readout

As far as I know, it cannot be done. Only km-mph. But you have about another 10 months to figure it out before you need it again, given you live in Edmonton.... Good luck! C
