Nothing like great friends, on a great road, then stop to soak it all in!
  4. Ah yes, my introduction to CO chipseal, I believe I was thinking of changing my shorts at that point, having my rear slid as much as it did that day screwed with my mojo for a very long time.

Just another week and we will be doing this all over again...Yeeha
  6. Three more weeks and we will be back at it again!
  7. Thanks for the report HS, I will be rereading this several times over the winter to remind myself how much I truly enjoyed this trip and to beat back the winter doldrums.

That was an awesome day, we kept telling ourselves that we had to quit stopping so often, but it seemed every corner we got around we had to stop to take more pics.
  11. I love this pic, think this one will be submitted for the next calender.
  12. Having had the near identical crash in the spring that killed my 5th gen, I so know your pain. Having your front lock up with no warning is a very scary feeling, so glad that your gear worked as well as mine. Hope you can find another ride to come to the meet. Hope you feel better soon.
  13. So far there have been several crashes of bikes with the sliders installed; from slow to very hard lay down, my own bike included. But like the majority of those that lay their bike down, they really don't want to take and post pics. I will tell you this though, nobody that has laid their bike down with the sliders installed have complained about having them on. I have had nothing but positive responses, but you also have to keep in mind that they are not designed as fairing protectors, they're frame protectors, and a darn good foot rest.
