  2. I believe we only received 2 since the last update. We are just on the cusp of reaching the minimum for the order but really need to get more of those who wanted on the list originally to get back to us one way or the other. Sf and I are trying to see what we can do on our end. Persuading Wade into building them, even if we're shy a few headers from his minimum, is on that list.

  3. I was on the list.... but I already have one installed in my 8G. I was thinking of buying another one? But honestly, after further review, if something were to happen to my beloved 8G, I probably would be done with VFR's? I can only stand to buy new motorcycles, nothing used. If something happened to my VFR? I'd have to consider a Gold Wing? or if I stay with a sport bike, maybe one of those BMW XR1000's? I can't believe there isn't a lot of people lining up to get their hands on a custom header for a VFR? Pricey? Yes, but it makes the VFR sooo much better... How far are we away from the minimum?

  5. Have someone hold in your clutch lever or zip ty it pulled in then try manually turning over the engine. This should separate an issue either within the transmission or the engine. Don't laugh or call me a fool for saying this! But is your bike on its center stand and absolutely in Neutral gear? Can you freely spin the rear wheel?

  6. I'll update later, but pretty decent I think. The only thing really preventing the brakes from working properly was the ring of crud / corrosion on the pistons preventing them from retracting. I'll clean up the pistons and see how bad the pitting is for possible use on another project, might be able to assemble one more "good" set out of all the left over parts. I have a 3rd set that I threw together as some place holders on my Hawk project before finishing the F3 calipers.

  8. Hello everyone. Life teaches you many things. I know i messed with a perfect bike, but i never gave up. Cleaned all the carburetors, and so many other things. Most of you told me the cdi wasn't the problem. Tested everything, evey wire, learned about resistance, continuity. Other's told me to give the bike to a mechanic. That was on the list, but i thought to myself. What can a mechanic do that i already didn't? Tell me to buy a cdi and test it? I will buy cdi myself and test myself. After hours and hours, very bad nights , a cdi from france arrived today to Portugal. Plugged in 5s, turned the key, pressed the starter button and there it was, the beautiful v4 sound again. This motorcycle though me many things. Carbs were so cleaned, but i cleaned again and again. Now i need to tune a 1970 cb175 that i have restored in COVID days. 😅 Thank you all and happy Easter. 9. I took advantage of some sunshine the other day to do some pre-season checks. I addressed a fuel stumbling/ground issue and looked everything over since I had literally this entire bike apart last year. I added a heavier ground cable back to the frame from the front subharness, updated the Rapid Bike tuner firmware, reset the fuel and ignition maps 1 & 2 and turned off the autotune. Tightened up 4 of the 8 header studs. Tightened and added loctite to the horn mount. Cleaned and adjusted the chain. Checked fluid levels. Wiped down the forks. Going to save a bath for nicer weather. Put about 30 miles on and temps hovered around 170°f on this 41° day. Pretty fricken stoked at how this bike turned out after the massive work I put into it.
