Paint is very nice. Well done. If I ever find a need to repaint.... I'll use yours as an example.

As a person who has been the repaint route, let me say that is really a nice job! Love the RC-30 tribute!

Yeah that's right Lobster, I had a 5th and a 6th gen!! In a rush of haste I sold the 5th gen for a song... regret that big time, much prefer the 5th gen motor, but love the 6th gen cycle and aesthetics... Aussiein USA is also right, I had an argument with a guardrail some years back and rebult the 6th to original condition, colours and all. Since then several minor scrapes started to add up to a rather shabby appearance. Late last year I came off again at the track and rashed and cracked up the plastics rather nastily. Then the electrical woes came back and I was ready to say goodbye. I very good friend and track buddy of mine took pity and fixed her up and painted her for me in our informal Cubata Team Racing Club's colours (based on the RC30)... there is a 2005 CBR1000, CBR954 and a CBR929 also painted in this scheme and we hit the track whenever we can...

No dude... no threads covering this... haven't posted here for yonks... a mate of mine fixed up the fairings and painted her for me while I was over in Oz... now that's what I call friendship!!
