  1. I'm pretty familar with the Redrock lookout you took those pics at, probably been there atleast 100 times :) Great looking 3rd gen, seems to me i've seen it before, theres a chance i've met the previous owner. I'm just north of you near the 215 and Cheyanne, big chance we'll run into each other. I'm going to take a trip out into Death Valley, (WHEN IT GETS WARMER THAN THE MID 70'S WE'LL BE HAVING THIS WEEK :) as there's some decent riding out there. Running through Badwater and possibly even out to the 395 for lunch is good, its a long day but a great ride. Not sure when but at some point in the near future its gunna happen, keep intouch if ya wanna go.

Was there ever a build thread on this? Fantastic work, the attention to detail is spot on.
  4. Thanks for the laugh Polar ....... that's very cheeky
  5. Glad to not see the bike with 12" of white stuff glued to it. Great write-up as usual O, good to see your 6 week window has opened and you're taking advantage. Ok now you've posted Black Bears i'm calling out for Polar, either that or Baluga ?(sp) whales ........ get on it!! :)
  6. Knowing O i'm sure that frostbitten 08 want stay parked long, just hope it starts. Keep it safe young lass, we all are looking forward to more epic eh adventures
  7. I've been following this also with anticipation that Honda will do the right thing, There's a difference between normal wear and tear, abuse and defective, this is an obvious defect in the product, a lemon as is known in the auto industry and Honda would do itself a tremendous service by making things right.

  9. I gotta get over there .........with a bike. Thanks for posting AB, cheers
  10. Great job Patrick, others have said it already but here it is again ..... "Bloody amazing". Fantastic job with the write-up and pictures, i'll be staying tuned for the rest of your story like everyone else.
  11. No, you're thinking of Red Rock Canyon which is just West of Las Vegas. Valley of Fire is about 80 miles North of Vegas. Nice shot, North Shore road is fantastic now its paved all the way to Overton.
  12. At it again girl, enjoyed your story as always.
  13. Unrideable in this condition, however you get tires ....GET EM!!!
  14. Late to the party as usual I am O, glad to hear you've had virtually no issues. A little oil here, a little electrical gremlin there ......unusually calm sea's for our Damsel on her VFR . Keep the Deer in your headlights and the Bears in your mirrors and most importantly ........ enjoy the journey.
  15. That ain't velcro G, did you know human waste has sticking capabilities . We had a great day, and that end part.......i've seen that firsthand more than once now, seems to be a regular occurance. Too bad I had my GoPro off the right side of my bike otherwise I would've caught it as well, multiple angles would've been good.
