Was there ever a build thread on this? Fantastic work, the attention to detail is spot on.
  3. I've been following this also with anticipation that Honda will do the right thing, There's a difference between normal wear and tear, abuse and defective, this is an obvious defect in the product, a lemon as is known in the auto industry and Honda would do itself a tremendous service by making things right.

You going to Spring Mtn Pahrump tomorrow, if so i'll seeya there.
  5. No, you're thinking of Red Rock Canyon which is just West of Las Vegas. Valley of Fire is about 80 miles North of Vegas. Nice shot, North Shore road is fantastic now its paved all the way to Overton.
  6. Well done O, another job done by the crazy Canadian writing chick. BTW...i've changed em with just about full tanks, no issue just alittle extra weight lifting the tank. I say a 6-12 beer job, turn it into an alldayer and the wife will think you're a stud mechanic........ O, that'd make ya a Studette to the fella's.

Nice one Weedman, seeya on a track sometime soon eh... :fing02: This is proof that age challenged doesn't mean speed challenged.....you rock Weedho!!
  10. Ahhh, so you were one of em eh Dre....busy day for the crew driving the crash truck, I believe atleast a dozen wrecks...sorry to hear you were one of them. I was out there but taking it really easy, the wind combined with cold track didn't make for ideal conditions. Anyway, nice job on the Viffer....well done!! yep, first lap of the second sesion in the "Lucas Oil" group i lost the tucked the front end setting up for turn 3 and 4. what kind of bike were you on? the crash truck probably needed to refuel by lunch time :laughing6-hehe: LOL...think you're right. Turn 3 catches alot of peope out, get off line through there with cold tires and you're history, seen it many times including my buddy..I rode Michelin group and sat out the first session, I was on the 02 RC51, pretty easy to spot as theres rarely any others out there. The first couple of sessions I was pretty much crawling, the track was really slick and I couldn't get any heat in the tires. By lunchtime things were alot better trackwise...was still cold and blowing like a SOB though.. :pissed:
