Let us know what you think of the RC, and you have been on a bike with wave rotors before, although it was only running on 3 of the 4 cylinders at the time.....How did the little jaunt around the car park go?

VFR4Lee Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 You win some, you lose some, it's all the same to me! Well, actually winning is a lot better.
Member Contributer Dutchy Posted August 14, 2017 Author Member Contributer Posted August 14, 2017 2 of redslut's parts was transplanted to my new ride.... a Signal Dynamics LED volt meter and........ the queen is dead, long live the queen!!!
douglasthecook Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Hey, don;t forget that Redslut lives on in other VFR's as well, she generously "donated" some of her parts to others, and I am thankful for the "donation"!
marriedman Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Holy cow Dutchy! When did you get the RC-51?! That thing is gorgeous!
Member Contributer Dutchy Posted August 14, 2017 Author Member Contributer Posted August 14, 2017 Hi Marriedman, While I was being transported to the hospital 80km up the road, I had plenty time to think about the universe, life, why are we here but most of all "which bike will I buy next if redslut is totalled?" (I had no recollection of the crash or the aftermath...) Pretty much knew that when all checked out/would be alright, an SP2 would be it Was planning to buy one come spring, but we all know what Robert Burns had to say about best laid plans eh? so when I came across her in December, I pounced. Today decided to "make a day" of it, to celebrate the simple fact of "being" Ship Ahoy!!!! Could have been on my way to the UK now..... could have.... Is this our future? "the horror, the horror......" sheeet, I prefer eating glass first before I go "electric"Mr Numan! Speaking of eating... and now for "the money shot...."
marriedman Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 That bike is utterly stunning! You've always had my admiration, now you have my envy as well!
Member Contributer Dutchy Posted August 14, 2017 Author Member Contributer Posted August 14, 2017 Thank you, you are too kind! And you still get to ride her (and/or the VF) should you ever land on this side of the pond.
Member Contributer vfrcapn Posted September 1, 2017 Member Contributer Posted September 1, 2017 Dutchy! I haven't stuck my head in much the past year and this is what I missed? Good to see you are in 1+ pieces and healing, so sorry about redslut! The SP2 is a nice looking bike, enjoy it safely!!
